Solar Innovations, Inc. began the installation of a cold frame greenhouse today at our corporate facility in Pine Grove, PA. The addition will be attached to the pre-existing Orchid greenhouse and serve as a home for hearty plants during the early spring and late fall months. A cold frames are one of the earliest variations of greenhouses.
Generally the cold frame is placed directly above a section of soil that the gardener wishes to grow plants in.
