We recently installed a Lumira curtain wall in the second floor of our Corporate Manufacturing Facility. The massive curtain wall spans over 75 feet. 8 of the 15 panels feature Lumira polycarbonate infill, four of which are 25mm opal polycarbonate. The remaining four are 25mm clear triple wall polycarbonate. Lumira aerogel’s main purpose is to increase thermal ratings, but can also greatly reduce sound transmission.The use of Lumira can even aid in the acheivement of LEED goals.
