Solar’s Early Summer Installation Recap

July 14, 2014

Solar Innovations, Inc.’s installation team has been hard at work throughout early summer completing various projects all over the Northeast.

Today, we are featuring two recently installed straight eave, double pitch greenhouses. Although they were the same geometric shape, each structure was custom designed by Solar Innovations, Inc to meet the exact needs of the end user with Solar’s various greenhouse accessories and decorative touches.

The Children’s Institute works to develop the academic, social, behavioral, communication, life, and career skills of children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and related disabilities. TCI’s new educational greenhouse will allow them to expand their teaching horizons and provide unique horticultural learning opportunities for its students.

The second greenhouse was installed at a private residence in New York. This project was the second installation of Solar’s products on the property. This client had a sunroom and they loved it so much, they decided to expand their plant space with one of our greenhouses. The structure was glazed with LoE 272 glass and equipped with appropriate accessories, including motorized ridge and eave vents, circulation fans, and heating and cooling systems to keep the structure at a comfortable temperature.

While these greenhouses had similar designs, we also offer a variety of additional greenhouse configurations and numerous accessory options for residential, commercial, educational, or institutional applications. Our staff of greenhouse experts can even provide growing advice for new and experienced growers alike.
