Our Machinists ensure all extrusions are cut correctly the first time in order to keep each project moving forward and make sure production is on schedule. Machinists load parts into each machine, cycle the machine, and inspect completed parts.
The Machining Department utilizes modern Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines – including HAAS Mills and Dual Spingle Lathes – to fabricate the different parts for Solar’s products. Solar also has programming opportunities utilizing Mastercam and Elusoft softwares.
A number of team members in our Machining Department also have the opportunity to assist with IRT Fishing Reels, since all required parts are manufactured in-house.
