Solar Innovations, Inc. recently sponsored a Fishing Rodeo in conjunction with Trout Unlimited at S A Trout Pond in Orwigsburg, PA for Big Brothers Big Sisters and their own employees. Participants, which included 20 children from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program (during the morning hours), Solar team members and their families (during the afternoon hours), brought their reels in search of catching trophy fish. Families brought lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the lunch provided by Trout Unlimited during the event. Prizes were awarded for individuals by age group with winners in each of the following categories: “Smallest Fish” and “Largest Fish,” and one grand prize winner of “Greatest Combined Length from All Catches.” A special thanks to Solar Innovations, Inc.’s team, Trout Unlimited, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Schuylkill County that contributed to the success of the event.
