Solar Innovations, Inc. is proud to support the YES program. Throughout the year, Solar Innovations, Inc. has invited local area high schools to tour the facility as part of the program. The YES (Your Eligibility Skills) certificate program is a 120-hour elective course administered by the Northeast PA Manufacturers and Employers Council. The program is designed to develop and enhance students’ basic job skills and provide them with tangible knowledge that can be applied to their future career endeavors. Solar Innovations, Inc. is excited to host students and educators, teaching them the unique manufacturing processes at Solar.
Solar Innovations, Inc. has been proud to host many tours at the company’s LEED Gold Certified corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Pine Grove, PA. Solar has been supporting the YES program since 2009 and will continue to support any educational effort that improves the lives of the next generation.
Solar Innovations, Inc. has hosted multiple tours a year since the inception of the program and is looking forward to the next YES tour where the North Schuylkill High School and the Hazleton Career Center will be joining the Solar team for an educational series on both Solar Innovations, Inc. products and manufacturing process.
