Solar Innovations® swing door systems feature panels and hardware with designs similar to our operable walls and structures, which creates a consistent appearance throughout any project. Our terrace and French doors are designed to seamlessly integrate into several different door, window, mulled, and operable systems, providing matching sightlines to create one cohesive unit.
Flexible and Durable Entryways
Solar offers several side-hinged swing door options that can be customized with decorative glass or wood veneer and are ideal for interior and exterior applications. While swing doors may be one of the simplest and most common door systems, they should not be overlooked when designing and planning out a residential or commercial space. Solar’s swing door systems are ideal for front doors, patio doors, entry doors, interior doors, and can also be retrofitted into an already existing structure. With numerous custom decorative glazing options, finishes, matching sidelites, and transom options, these swing doors can either blend in with the aesthetics of a surrounding structure to act as a pragmatic entrance, or they can be the star of the show with the grandeur of a true entry door.

Our swing doors create a thermally enhanced entrance to any business. Commercial systems can be ADA compliant and equipped with standard push/pull hardware and locking mechanisms. Panic hardware is also available upon request. Commercial terrace doors are often used in hotels, restaurants, and clothing boutiques. Solar Innovations® can also provide screen systems for our commercial exterior doors.
Swing doors create an ideal entryway or interior door in residential applications. With matching transoms and sidelites—as well as complete mulling options with operable windows—swing doors can create a grand entrance. Traditional flair can be added with a French door with passive hardware sets, or a sleek modern aesthetic with a combination of window and door sizes all utilizing the same framing.
