Solar Innovations, Inc. has released the second generation ridge vent system. The new system can be integrated into any of Solar’s glazed structures, preexisting conventional construction, or retrofitted for the systems of obsolete manufacturer’s. Ridge vents are an essential element in passive ventilation systems, allowing fresh air to enter a space and eliminating stagnant air.
The G2 ridge vent is thermally enhanced with thermal strut and allows for wider openings. Spans up to 19 feet and up to four bays wide can be operated as one unit (engineering approval required.) This large scale ventilation is especially helpful when dealing with expansive greenhouses and pool enclosures that require constant fresh air circulation.
Versatility and adaptability are the key elements of Solar Innovations, Inc.’s G2 ridge vent system. The system’s increased flexibility allows it to accept universal motor options. The G2 system can also be attached to nearly any slope, allowing it to function as a motorized eave vent or operable window depending upon the installation conditions.
