Using Coffee Grounds As Fertilizer

Attention greenhouse hobbyists: with fall approaching it is a perfect time to begin drying coffee grounds to be used as fertilizer over winter. You can utilize your greenhouse benches while there is still space or simply lay out a sheet of newspaper  and spread your coffee grounds on it to dry. Once they are dry you can either store them in a container to use later or spread them around your acid loving plants such as roses, azaleas or rhododendron. A ½ cup of dried coffee ground is good for about a 3 foot plant.
