On Thursday, October 25, 2018, Solar Innovations® hosted its annual Fall Fest for team members.
At 3 p.m., the Solar team enjoyed a variety of foods that were served in the cafeteria, but could also be enjoyed outside in the crisp fall weather. Hot dogs and hamburgers were prepared on the grill, and pierogis, baked beans, chips, macaroni salad, potato salad, and pumpkin cupcakes were also served. In addition, apple cider with fruit slices and tea with orange slices were provided for the team to enjoy.
After the group photo with everyone wearing their new Fall Fest t-shirts and lunch, the corn hole tournament began and lasted throughout the rest of the day. It was an exciting bracket, with Vinny Candelora and Dave Dilbert coming out as the winners.
During the tournament, team members also used the fire pit to make s’mores and watch more of the team play volleyball.
Over the last three years, Solar has enjoyed putting together this event in order to show appreciation to its team members. Fall Fest is not only a fun way to celebrate the changing seasons, but also a way to bond with the team over food, games, and a campfire. Solar continuously strives to provide fun, team-strengthening activities for its members and looks forward to celebrating more events like this in the future!
