President / Chief Executive Officer

Greg Header is the president of Solar Innovations® where he spends the majority of his time in product development and technical sales while leading the Company in daily operations. Throughout his life, Greg has been an active entrepreneur owning and operating several businesses before the inception of Solar, including the Header Trading Company which he began in 1987 and is still operating today.

Greg holds a Business Degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Alvernia College where he graduated in 1997. Immediately after earning his degree, Greg founded Solar Innovations® and became active in the glazing and fenestration industries.

Greg’s proudest moments include being quoted in The Wall Street Journal, expanding Solar Innovations® to a three-building corporate campus on 36+ acres, completing a portion of the Tower at PNC project, receiving multiple patents, being named in the 2008 “Top 20 under 40” by Glass Magazine, and receiving countless interviews and developmental achievements over the years. As a father of two, Greg and his wife Stacey enjoy outdoor activities and family time.

Chief Financial Officer

Stacey Header is part-owner and CFO of Solar Innovations.  Stacey, along with her husband, Greg Header, and Darren Coder, founded Solar Innovations in 1998.

Stacey  is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and obtained her CPA license in 1995.  She worked as an auditor in a regional accounting firm for 2 years.  She then spent several years in Internal Audit for Hershey Foods Corporation and First Energy before joining Solar Innovations permanently in 2002.  She has worked heavily in both the Finance and Human Resource departments within Solar Innovations.  Stacey is a Board of Director for the Northeast PA Manufacturers & Employers Association and a member of the AICPA, PICPA, and Society for Human Resources (SHRM).

Chief Information & Marketing Officer

Justin has been working in the window and door industry since 2006 and has lead various efforts in information technology and marketing throughout his career. Justin works to streamline processes for the business through information technology. His marketing efforts are to create the best material for Solar’s customers to match the quality of products Solar produces. Before joining Solar in 2016 Justin worked at Western Window Systems for over 10 years as the Chief Information Officer and prior was proudly serving in the United States Army.

Justin holds a bachelor of science in computer science from the University of Maryland and a Masters degree in business administration from Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School for Global Management .

VP of Engineering and R & D

Ari is the V.P. of Engineering and Research and Development at Solar Innovations Architectural Glazing Systems. Ari is currently responsible for all the development of new products and innovations. Ari was brought on to aid Solar Innovation with both the engineering and the development of new products by providing management, direction, technical expertise, and new ideas. Ari has a very versatile experience that includes civil and structural engineering and a vast experience developing new products.

Although Ari officially joined Solar’s team in September of 2016, he has been associated with Solar’s team since 2008. Prior to 2016 Ari was an Engineer Project Manager at the PA Turnpike Commission, as well as a Consultant for several engineering/architectural firms. He is a registered professional engineer and currently holds a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus.

VP of Installation

As the VP of installation, Darren is heavily involved in the correct installation of our products to our end consumers. Darren started with Solar as a founder and co-owner in 1998 and has continued to fuel Solar’s installation engine and production process over the years. Darren has enhanced over 20 different product lines over the life of his career and his knowledge and experience in the industry make him an incredible problem solver. His positive influence and customer focused attitude have propelled our install business over the years with customer satisfaction at the very cornerstone of our business.

Darren has been involved in the glazing industry for over 30 years working on the installations of extremely complex structures, skylights, windows, and door products.  Darren is also a co-owner and one of the original founders of Solar Innovations, Inc.

Director of Project Management

Erin’s previous work experience in the architectural design industry, since 1998, has provided a great foundation of industry knowledge to teach and lead the Project Management Department.  Her specialized design experience in building sciences provides a knowledge base of movement of cold and water both within a building and within an exterior wall.  Her department goal of providing top notch customer service from order to shipment is the focus behind her work.  Understanding the design intent and the best application of the desired product with provide the best possible integration with the proposed building type.

Erin began her career with Solar Innovations in 1995 when she was interning for Solar Innovations while obtaining her architectural degree.  Even then, she led the way by assisting with the very first CAD station to transfer from board drafted detail standards into new age technology.

Director of Service and Installation

Frank started at Solar Innovations in 2005 and has been involved in various areas of the business throughout his career. As the director of service and installation Frank provides customers with fast response times to installation and service requests by providing leadership, direction, and a positive attitude to deliver our products with the quality they have come to expect from us. Prior to leading our service and installations efforts, Frank was heavily involved in the operations part of the business providing management to the entire operations staff building our products, leading the way in innovative ways to accomplish our goals.

In his free time he enjoys hunting with friends, enjoying the beautiful Pennsylvania weather and cooking in the great outdoors. In addition, Frank has become Solar’s premier barbecue and deep-fried turkey specialist over the years and never disappoints his fans at our company events.

Director of Process Improvement

Kristin Selden joined the Solar Team in June 2016 and is the Director of Continuous Improvements.  She is responsible for the analysis of processes and finds opportunities, for innovative applications and implementations, in order to exceed our customer’s expectations.  Her goals are to eliminate waste and to ensure that every action has a positive effect on the company’s mission. Her passion lies within both internal and external customer service programs and fully understands that success within the internal organization leads to a successful partnership with our clients.

Kristin has worked in Continuous Improvements for over 20 years, in both manufacturing and service industries. She comes to us from Vitra Inc, an International Manufacturing organization where she served as both an Officer of the company and Vice President of Operations.

Architectural Sales Manager

Josh Musser has been employed at Solar Innovations since 2010.  Prior to coming to Solar, he was an Outside Sales Representative in the health care industry.  Josh works with the Sales and Estimating team to ensure that our customers’ project needs are met, making their dreams a reality.  Throughout his career at Solar Innovations, he has worked in Project Management as well as in the Sales/Estimating department and used these experiences to broaden his industry knowledge.  Through this knowledge, he has been a key resource for his team in training and development.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College.

Human Resources Manager

Melissa overseas all human resource related duties for the facility at Solar. Melissa joined Solar in 2010 to help drive motivation and teamwork in the business. Her functions include: recruitment, benefits, training, compliance and safety.  Melissa embodies the culture and core values of Solar in all she does motivating our team members to better themselves for the good of the company.

Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in both Business Administration and Psychology with a Human Resources Concentration.  After having previously held a PHR Certification, she recently obtained her SPHR Certification.

Logistics Manager

Missy joined Solar Innovations Architectural Glazing Systems in 2007 as a Purchasing Associate.  As the Purchasing Manager, she is responsible for ensuring that all components are received on time and she is acutely aware that the quality of components is critical to ensuring that our customers’ expectations are met.  In 2016, Missy assumed the role of Production Manager where she focuses on JIT production, Lean measures, and is responsible for championing Solar’s Green efforts through her unwavering vision and belief in recycling.

Missy has over 20 years of both manufacturing and service experience.  She earned her degree from Central Penn College, Harrisburg PA.

Maintenance Manager

Rick started at Solar in 2007 and has continued the tradition of long term employees at the company. Providing continuous improvements to our machining centers and production lines with his team of experts that understand both manufacturing and the ability to never say “its impossible” to a project or deadline.  Rick provides guidance in helping increase productivity by providing support for the infrastructure of Solar.  Rick focuses on reducing cost for the company and is involved in the purchases of major equipment to help speed up processes and production.

Rick has an associates degree from Stevens Trade School in machine tech which allows him greater foresight on the right equipment needed for each different area out on the shop floor.

Drafting Manager

Derek always knew he wanted to be involved in the world of architecture from an early age. Derek previously held positions in the commercial steel industry giving him a strong foundation into the world of building products and solutions. His interest in product knowledge and his problem solving capabilities led him to his current position as the Drafting Manager.

Derek has a bachelors degree from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Derek began his career at Solar Innovations in 2010 as a cutlister and quickly moved up to leading the department in drafting and cutlisting for the entire company.

Purchasing Manager

Kate started at Solar in 2016 as part of expanding our leadership for our continued growth in the industry. Her expertise in purchasing have made her a valuable asset to the team. In providing excellent vendor relations between our partners Kate finds innovative ways to save the company in lead times and cost. Kate is in charge of all of the purchasing department and helping to manage the inventory needs of our production line.

Previously, Kate was 4 years at RAE energy (oil and gas industry) as purchasing and logistics coordinator handling global sourcing, procurement, international and domestic logistics activities for offices in US, Norway, UK and Indonesia.  Previous experience of 6 years in powder coatings industry at Akzo Nobel in international logistics, intercompany supply chain and customer service.

Operations Manager

Starting at Solar in 2016 Mike was part of our expansive growth initiative to bring in the right talent to increase our continued growth in the industry. Mike leads the operations on our shop floor with his industry knowledge and can-do attitude. Mike helps manage the teams working hard on the products for our customers and keeps everyone involved throughout a projects life to better communicate with our customers. Mike wants to continue to make Solar one of the best at what we do, and continue to increase production capacity as Solar grows.  Mike has the customer at the forefront of every action and works to benefit us all in the process.

Prior to Solar Mike had 33 years in manufacturing with 24 years of his experience in manufacturing management with a diversified back ground in products including 9 years in doors and windows.

Fenestration Product Manager

Starting in the industry back in 1991 and working in our drafting department Keith currently is in charge of various complex door projects and design reviews at Solar. Keith helps work on products and systems that require special knowledge in order to achieve the greatest results to our customers. Keith’s experience is critical to the continued success of our folding/sliding/stacking glass wall systems. Keith has established experience from the wide range of jobs and projects he was able to be a part of and continues to strengthen Solar’s knowledgebase of systems the competition will not handle.

Keith posses a bachelors degree in mathematics and has been working on R and D product projects since 2003. His continued growth and knowledge have become a true asset of Solar.

Accounting Manager

Angela has been with Solar since September 2014.   She has worked in accounting for over 15 years in various industries including manufacturing and service. Angela finds solutions that are mutually beneficial to Solar and its customers through risk assessment, financial analysis and negotiations. She is passionate about team synergy and promotes communication and business planning to builds strong relationship with Solar’s customers, vendor and business partners.

Angela is working towards earning a Master’s degree in business administration from Alvernia University.

Engineering Supervisor

Meghan joined the Solar Team in 2010 after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Design and Construction Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and is currently the Engineering Supervisor at Solar Innovations. Throughout Meghan’s time at Solar, she has been a part of ensuring customers visions are recreated in structurally sound designs in locations around the world.

Meghan is also heavily involved with all forms of testing, including but not limited to Structural, Thermal, and Acoustical. By organizing and finalizing these tests and their results, Meghan aids in helping Solar Innovations move to the next level of product offerings, their quality, and capabilities. With Meghan’s knowledge and experience, she has been a reliable source to multiple departments for training, development, and quick response time.

Business Analyst

Dave joined Solar in December 2014.  He has been working in Accounting for over 20 years.  Using his knowledge of technology and business, Dave provides the team with reports and applications that help guide them to the best solutions.  He assists the Accounting department in providing Senior Management with Financial reporting that drives the business.  In addition, Dave works hard to provide the management teams with the best data to help them make the most informed decisions during their strategic sessions.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration specializing in Accounting from Millersville University.

Executive Coordinator

April Mitchell joined the Solar Innovations family in October of 2014 as the Executive Coordinator. April has the opportunity to work equally with both the Office and Shop Teams as well as working closely with our President on many projects. She is also responsible for planning all internal and external Team Events and Celebrations and co-chairing the Solar Cares Campaigns.

April’s goal at Solar is to help create a united Solar family that works together to deliver our customers the best experience when doing business with us. April received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College.
