President / Chief Executive Officer

Greg Header is the president of Solar Innovations® where he spends the majority of his time in product development and technical sales while leading the Company in daily operations. Throughout his life, Greg has been an active entrepreneur owning and operating several businesses before the inception of Solar, including the Header Trading Company which he began in 1987 and is still operating today.

He currently holds a Business Degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Alvernia College where he graduated in 1997. Immediately after earning his degree, Greg founded Solar Innovations® and became active in the glazing and fenestration industries.

Some of his proudest moments include being quoted in The Wall Street Journal, expanding Solar Innovations® to a three-building corporate campus on 36+ acres, completing a portion of the Tower at PNC project, receiving multiple patents, being named in the 2008 “Top 20 under 40” by Glass Magazine, and receiving countless interviews and developmental achievements over the years. As a father of two, Greg and his wife Stacey enjoy outdoor activities and family time.

Chief Financial Officer

Stacey Header is part-owner and CFO of Solar Innovations.  Along with her husband, Greg Header, and Darren Coder, founded Solar Innovations in 1998.

Graduating Bloomsburg University and obtained her CPA license in 1995.  Working as an auditor in a regional accounting firm for 2 years.  She spent several years internally auditing for Hershey Foods Corporation and First Energy before joining Solar Innovations permanently in 2002.  Heavily working in both the Finance and Human Resource departments within Solar Innovations.  Stacey is a Board of Director for the Northeast PA Manufacturers & Employers Association and a member of the AICPA, PICPA, and Society for Human Resources (SHRM).

VP of Engineering and R & D

Ari is the V.P. of Engineering and Research & Development at Solar Innovations Architectural Glazing Systems. Currently he is responsible for all the development of new products and innovations. Brought on to aid Solar Innovation with both the engineering and the development of new products. Providing management, he also, directs, offers technical expertise, and new ideas. Ari has a very versatile experience that includes civil and structural engineering and a vast experience developing new products.

Although Ari officially joined Solar’s team in September of 2016, he has been working with Solar’s team since 2008. Before 2016 Ari was an Engineer Project Manager at the PA Turnpike Commission, and a Consultant for several engineering/architectural firms. He is a registered professional engineer and holds a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico.

VP of Installation

Since Darren is the VP of installation, he is heavily involved in the correct installation of our products to our end consumers. Darren started with Solar as a founder and co-owner in 1998. During this time he has continued to fuel Solar’s installation engine and production process over the years. Darren has enhanced over 20 different product lines since the start of his career. His knowledge and experience in the industry make him an incredible problem solver. His positive influence and customer focused attitude have propelled our install business over the years with customer satisfaction at the very cornerstone of our business.

Darren has been involved in the glazing industry for over 30 years working on the installations of extremely complex structures, skylights, windows, and door products.  Darren is also a co-owner and one of the original founders of Solar Innovations, Inc.

Director of Project Management

Josh Musser has been employed at Solar Innovations® since 2010. Prior to coming to Solar, he was an Outside Sales Representative in the health care industry. Josh oversees the Project Management team to ensure that our customers’ project needs are met. Throughout his career at Solar, he has worked in both the Project Management and Sales & Estimating departments. As a result, Josh broadened his industry knowledge. With this knowledge, he has been a key resource for his team in training and development.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College.

Director of Drafting & Cutlist

Derek always knew he wanted to be involved in the world of architecture from an early age. Derek previously held positions in the commercial steel industry therefore giving him a strong foundation into the world of building products and solutions. His interest in product knowledge and his problem solving capabilities led him to his current position as the Drafting Manager.

Derek has a bachelors degree from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Derek began his career at Solar Innovations in 2010 as a cutlister and quickly moved up to leading the department in drafting and cutlisting for the entire company.

Director of Process Improvement

Kristin Selden joined the Solar Team in June 2016 and is the Director of Continuous Improvements.  She is responsible for analyzing processes and finding opportunities, for innovative applications and implementations, to exceed our customer’s expectations.  Her goal to eliminate waste and to ensure that every action has a positive effect on the company’s mission. Her passion lies within both internal and external customer service programs and fully understands that success within the internal organization leads to a successful partnership with our clients.

Kristin has worked in Continuous Improvements for over 20 years, in both manufacturing and service industries. She comes to us from Vitra Inc, an International Manufacturing organization where she served as Officer of the company in addition to Vice President of Operations.

Director of Install & Service

Frank started at Solar Innovations in 2005 and has been involved in various areas of the business throughout his career. As the director of service and installation Frank provides customers with fast response times to installation and service requests by providing leadership, direction, and a positive attitude to deliver our products with the quality they have come to expect from us. Prior to leading our service and installations efforts, Frank was heavily involved in the operations part of the business providing management to the entire operations staff building our products and leading the way in innovative ways to accomplish our goals.

During his free time, Frank hunts with friends, enjoys the Pennsylvania weather and cooks outdoors. In addition, Frank has become Solar’s premier barbecue and deep-fried turkey specialist over the years and never disappoints his fans at our company events.

Director of Human Resources

Melissa oversees all human resource duties for the facility at Solar. Melissa joined Solar in 2010 to help drive motivation and teamwork in the business. Her functions include: recruitment, benefits, training, compliance and safety.  Melissa embodies the culture and core values of Solar in all she does motivating our team members to better themselves for the good of the company.

Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in both Business Administration and Psychology with a Human Resources Concentration.  After having previously holding a PHR Certification, most noteworthy, she currently hold her SPHR Certification.

Logistics Manager

Missy joined Solar Innovations Architectural Glazing Systems in 2007 as a Purchasing Associate.  As the Purchasing Manager, she is responsible for ensuring that all components are received on time. She also is aware of the quality of components therefore ensuring that our customers’ expectations are met.  As a result in  2016, Missy assumed the role of Production Manager. She focuses on JIT production, Lean measures, and Solar’s Green efforts through her vision and belief in recycling.

Missy has over 20 years of both manufacturing and service experience.  She earned her degree from Central Penn College, Harrisburg PA.

Director of Maintenance & Machining

Rick started at Solar in 2007 and continues the tradition of long term employees at the company. Providing continuous improvements to our machining centers and production lines with his team of experts that understand both manufacturing and the ability to never say “its impossible” to a project or deadline.  Providing guidance in helping increase productivity while providing support for the infrastructure of Solar.  Focusing on reducing cost for the company and is involved in the purchases of major equipment to help speed up processes and production.

Rick has an associates degree from Stevens Trade School in machine tech as a result allows him greater foresight on the right equipment needed for each different area out on the shop floor.

IT Manager

Will Salen joined Solar Innovations® at the beginning of 2017. Prior to coming to Solar, he was a system administrator in the education industry and has over 20 years of IT experience. Will plans, implements and manages many of our IT systems including networks, servers, firewalls, storage, communications and backup. His primary goals are to ensure security, efficiency, stability and growth for Solar’s technology landscape.

Will holds a Bachelor of Science for Computer Systems Management from Alvernia University and an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree for Electronics, Networks and Software Technology from Berks Technical Institute.

Fenestration Product Manager

Starting in the industry in 1991, working in our drafting department, Keith currently oversees various projects and designs at Solar. Keith helps work on products and systems that require special knowledge to achieve the greatest results to our customers. Keith’s experience is critical to continue success of our folding/sliding/stacking glass wall systems. Keith has established experience from the wide range of jobs and projects he could be a part of. He continues to strengthen Solar’s knowledgebase of systems the competition will not handle.

In conclusion, Keith posses a bachelors degree in mathematics and has been working on R and D product projects since 2003. His continued growth and knowledge have become a true asset of Solar.

Business Analyst

Dave joined Solar in December 2014.  He has been working in Accounting for over 20 years.  Because of his knowledge of technology and business, Dave provides reports and applications that help guide to the best solutions.  Assisting the Accounting department in providing Senior Management with Financial reporting that drives the business.  In addition, Dave works hard to provide the management teams with the best data to help them make the most informed decisions during their strategic sessions.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration specializing in Accounting from Millersville University.

Executive Coordinator

April joined the Solar Innovations family in October of 2014 as the Executive Coordinator. Giving her the opportunity to work equally with both the Office and Shop Teams as well as working closely with our President on many projects. Her responsibilities include planning all internal and external Team Events and Celebrations and co-chairing the Solar Cares Campaigns.

Hence April’s goal at Solar is to help create a united Solar family that works together to deliver our customers the best experience when doing business with us. Currently she obtains a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College.
