We are currently preparing our orchid greenhouse for the winter months. The orchid greenhouse produces a limited amount of blooms over the summer. However, during the winter an array of orchid’s come into bloom. Our orchids have been steadily growing throughout the summer, preparing to set their blooms.
Pictured below is a vanilla orchid. This particular orchid will not bloom this year, even though it has been growing at a rapid pace, climbing this entire piece of wood. The vanilla orchid will continue to climb upwards, to 20 feet or more. Our plan is to allow the orchid to grow up the stucco wall, which features veneered rocks it can attach to.
