Recycling is important, but there is more to recycling than just making sure that used containers and packaging are being disposed of properly. When it comes to being green, it is important to think outside the box. Monitoring energy consumption to prevent waste is just as critical in helping the environment as recycling aluminum, plastic and paper.
Solar Innovations® is not new to recycling and we go above and beyond to protect the environment. Most of our cleaning supplies are biodegradable or all natural. We are proud to say we are 85% off the power grid and are currently switching to compact-fluorescent and LED lighting.
We have several bins for recycling and encourage everyone to do so at home as well. We also use recycled tissues, envelopes, and buy products that have packaging that can be recycled. Even our latest software upgrade will help to eliminate paper waste.
Most of our products are built with eco-friendly materials and most qualify for LEED credits. Our engineering departments thermal technology software helps us build a more energy focused product, in return limiting the resources needed to heat and cool our structures. On top of that, we build our own shipping crates for our products to eliminate waste.
